¡A disfrutarla!

My uncle Raul took this to one of the last family gatherings, and we all wanted the recipe! He shared it with us, we tried it, and will keep it here because it deserves to be made many more times!

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 500gr leeks
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 250gr cream
  • 250gr cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 250gr button mushrooms (champignons)
  • 2 eggs
  • And your favourite pie crust.

Lightly fry in a spoonful of olive oil and a spoonful of butter a big bunch of chopped leeks and two crushed garlic cloves, until they are soft.

Add 250gr cream cheese and 250gr cream, and a teaspoon ground nutmeg. Keep simmering on very low heat.

Meanwhile, wash and slice 250gr button mushrooms (champignons), and add them to the leeks. Cook for a short while, then turn the heat off and let cool.

Make your pie crust of choice, and line an adequate oven dish.

When the filling is cool, add two eggs to it and beat well. Pour into the crust, and bake in a moderate oven.

Enjoy!
