Beach tote bag ~ Bolso playero simple

I have shown a sneak peek into some dyeing we did this summer. We also did some fabric tie-dye, and this is the last thing I sew with a piece of that fabric.

Bolso violeta y rosa, frente

I used this tutorial to get the square box bottom, and just added grosgrain ribbon straps. The buttons are hand crocheted, but not by myself.

I added a button in the back so it can be neatly folded to store or take as a spare bag.

It was a very rewarding project, from start to finish. Here is a picture of what the fabric looked like before dyeing. It is so much fun to “discover” what the pattern actually looks like! And the simple lines of the bag really shows it off. I hope it is much enjoyed!

Tied fabric for dyeing.

I love the button on the back so you can fold it up! And of course, the fabric🙂

      Thanks!

I made a sewing machine cover with another tie-dyed piece, and have two more left – one I love and one which turned quite lame – I can’t think of a project for either, LOL!
