Chicken and potatoes dish

This dish was one of those “What do I have in the fridge?” creations. We loved it! And the smell as it cooked, yummmmy!

  • sal a gusto

Chicken with orange-ginger sauce (serves 2)

  • 2 chicken drumsticks and thighs
  • juice of one orange
  • a small garlic clove
  • a piece of ginger root (about double the size of the garlic clove)
  • a teaspoon rosemary
  • salt (to taste)

Salt the chicken and seal it over a high heat until the skin is slightly golden.
Finely chop garlic and ginger together.
Turn the heat to low, and add the orange juice, garlic, ginger, rosemary and salt to the pan.
Cook slowly, pouring the sauce from the bottom of the pan over the chicken several times

We had it with potatoes baked with a little bit of olive oil and oreganon. I think any mash or veges would go along nicely with it…

¡Buen provecho!

Enjoy!
